Nowadays, knowledge economy springs up, economy globalization is much more evident, international competition is extremely intense; meanwhile, science innovation is much more active than before. Under this circumstance, to enhance the international S & T cooperation and exchange is a crucial measure of promoting the development of S & T, as well as accelerating economic construction and social development. Since its establishment, Guangdong Association for International S & T Cooperation (GAISTC) dedicates to promote S & T cooperation and exchange of Guangdong province with other countries and districts, and has made some achievements with the concerns and supports from all social  circles.  Henceforth, GAISTC will continue to keep on the theme of "Cooperation & Development" to manage all kinds of S & T cooperative activities, to build up a flat for S & T communication, exchange and cooperation between Guangdong and the whole world, to supply good services, as well as to achieve the prosperity and development of S & T with relative fellows.
